Norfolk House provides highly skilled care and support for children and young people aged from 11 to 18 years who have learning disabilities with associated behaviours and who require full support, supervision and in some cases personal care.

Situated in a quiet residential area of Ilford, we offer the children and young people in our care a safe and homely, yet structured environment, whilst insuring that they receive a high level of individual care and professional support.

Our aim is to provide care which is sensitive to the child or young person’s physical, emotional, psychological and cultural needs within a homely yet fully supported social setting.

We believe that all children and young people have the right to privacy, dignity and quality care which enables them to develop and achieve their full potential.

Our team of highly skilled staff at Norfolk House have considerable experience of caring for children and young people with learning disabilities including Autism and Asperger’s syndrome.

We welcome referrals from the young person’s placing authority, health team or private referral.

Chartwell Trust Care believes in forging strong working relationships with local health and social care teams. In addition to this, the health and therapeutic care of each young person is overseen by our specialist pediatrician who provides a consulting resource for front line staff and also provides access to a range of therapeutic specialists.
