New Operations Manager for Chartwell Trust Care’s Adult Services

A new Operations Manager has been appointed by Chartwell Trust Care to lead its adult services division.

Chartwell provides care and support in community settings for people with a learning disability and complex needs in a range of residential and supporting living environments throughout Leicestershire.

Katrina Keating, who has formerly worked extensively in learning disability services including as a Regional Manager and Home Manager, has joined Chartwell to lead the care and support teams working in services across the county.

Welcoming her to the organisation, Chief Operating Officer Simon Blunden, said: “Kat has extensive experience and knowledge of the learning disability sector. She previously¬†managed a region of nine homes gaining plentiful experience overseeing specialist learning disability, autism and complex need services and we are delighted to welcome her to the team.”

Kat (as she prefers to be known) originally trained as a professional chef before entering the care sector working frontline in Support Worker and Rehabilitation Specialist (brain injury) roles.
